For me to live is Christ and to die is gain! Philippians 1:21

For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself, for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live we are the Lords. Romans 14:7-8

Dave and Ginny, it was very hard for me to hear the news from Tim that your Father passed away into the sky of heaven's beauty. I was unable to attend the funeral due to an injury I had from a fall. You have my prayers for Peace and for Comfort, just knowing what a wonderful Father you had and what a wonderful Pastor we all had. He was a blessing to me and my father and had many prayers said over my illnesses and injuries.

Pastor Dan was a great friend and solid rock. I will always remember the love he showed me and the questions he would ask me about how my relationship with Christ was. When he asked how you were doing you knew he asked not because he had to but because he wanted to and he cared. He has helped me so much in raising my level of serving God in my ministry. Till we meet again in Heaven.

Growing up in the Kiefer household, I remember our mother asking Dan to vacuum the living room. When he was doing that, I noticed how careful and methodical he was going about his task. I wondered why he just didn't do it real fast to complete the chore. Later I couldn't help notice how the carpeting looked cleaner than I had ever seen it before, it seemed even the carpet fibers were all alighned nicely. Strange that would stay in my mind about Dan since childhood, but it is a good example of Dan's character and work ethic, even before he found Christ. Mother said he always made his bed too! Dan always tried to do the right thing, and do it to the best of his ability. Love and condolences to Dan's family and friends, Bill and Jodee Kiefer

Dan Kiefer was my brother-in-law for over 30 years and my friend and family for life. When Dan put his mind to doing something, it was always done with a lot of thought and always always done correct. Who builds a house in 1970's with all the electric wires in conduit? That was our Dan.

When Dan was saved, he threw himself into a life serving God and did a fine job. He never waivered in his faith and preached the message of love and redemption until the day he died.

I am so grateful to our God, that Jesus and the Angels came for Dan quickly and saved him of any further suffering.
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Dan is praising the Lord in person (spirit)!

David, Ginny, Benjamin, Owen, Sullivan and Gannon. Tanya, Mercedes, Casse and Dominic and all who loved Dan..my condolences are with you.

For all who know my dad know how wonderful a man he was. He touched so many peoples lives. My dad has always been there for me and is and always will be the best father and dad that a son could have, but he took that role on with many people so all of us are absolutely blessed to have known him. He loved the lord with passion as well as his congregation. I speak for Ginny and myself when I say thank you to all of you for your love thoughts and prayers through this very difficult time. Dad I want you to know that I love you more than I could never express but please know that it gives me peace knowing that you are no longer sick and that you are with God now. I LOVE YOU DAD. thank you for being my dad
