I first met Dave 24 years ago when he began dating my mother. He was a brave man considering she had 4 children. Dave was there for the ups and downs of my childhood. He was someone I could talk to and lean on when things were tough (often making me laugh even when I was sad) and someone who got excited for me when things went well. He was there when my grandmother died, when I got married and when I got divorced. I didnt have a dad but I had a Dave. I moved away several months ago so I was not there when he got sick, but I know nothing was left unsaid. He knew that I loved him. Under relationship I chose family because he was my family and I will miss him very much. During our last conversation he mentioned how happy he was with Renee and told me few funny stories involving her. I was so glad to know he had that much love and laughter in his life. He was a special guy and he deserved it.

Always our Best man!

Dave, I am glad that Terry had you as a close friend. You were there for so many of his accomplishments, both of us treasured you in different ways. Thank you for giving of yourself to him. You were and always will be his best man!

Dave was an incredibly unique and intelligent man. I'm going to miss our conversations. RIP Dave

We all knew Dave as an incredibly intelligent and caring, unique person. He would often get your attention with the smack of a cue stick or a modestly alarming explosion. Hell, maybe the elevator worked better after he was done with it. He is one of the monarchs of the UJ family and we'll miss him along with those that went before him.
