Peter R. Bennett
QUEENSBURY - Peter R. Bennett, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Albany Medical Center.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette Street, Queensbury, NY 12804.
A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at Pine View Cemetery.

I worked with Pete for 8 years at Queensbury Elementary. He was so much fun, we raised a ton of hell, he made the job worth going too. He will be deeply missed. RIP Peter

I just want to offer my deepest condolences. I've known Peter for about 10 years and he has always been one of my absolute favorite people to work with. He will be missed so dearly by his healthcare team and we will think of him often. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. <3

I am so sad to learn of Pete passing away. I remember working with him at Queensbury Elementary. He had the best sense of humor!

I met Peter 29 years ago at Pine View cemetery. He was there for Nathan and I was weeping over the fresh grave of my daughter. He came over and I just threw myself in his arms. Never met him before. He just held me and let me cry. We'd often see each other there and I'll never forget his kindness.
