Robert Dewitt Quick
May 1, 1926 - July 20, 2024
Robert Dewitt Quick, 98, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 20, 2024 after a brief illness. Robert was born in Rahway, NJ on May 1, 1926 and grew up in Kerhonkson, NY. He served in the Merchant Marine in World War II in the North Atlantic, Pacific and Mediterranean war zones.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 N. Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Chapel of the Assumption, 2026 Lands End Road, Huletts Landing, NY 12841 and burial at Mountain Grove Memorial Church Cemetery will immediately follow the Mass. Please refer to Burke Funeral Home site for time and date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Robert to the Huletts Landing, NY Volunteer Fire Department, 905 Co Rd 6, Huletts Landing, NY 12841. For full obituary and online remembrances please visit www.burkefuneralhome.com.

Gail, Teri and family, I am so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I will always remember him smiling as he sped past us on his golf cart -coming and going to the golf course multiple times a day. Thinking of you.
