I don't think I've ever known a more loving, devoted person than Sonja. She shared her life unconditionally with my brother Leonard for many years. When I think of Sonja, I always 'see' her laughing and telling a good joke, or lending a hand to someone in need.
Jessie, and Clyde....I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Although I have not seen my Aunt Sonja in a long time, it makes me sad to hear of her passing. Jesse and Clyde I know how hard it is to lose one of your parents as I just lost my dad in late December. Remember she is in a better place now. God bless you. And I love you both.

Knowing nothing about me, Sonya treated me like one of the family and shared her home and family. Sonya's kind are very rare and are always missed forever.

SONJA WAS AND IS A SPECIAL PERSON. SHE WOULD BE THE FIRST ONE THERE IF SOMEONE HAD A PROBLEM, EMERGENCY, SICK, ETC. SHE WAS CARING, LOVING,WARM, AND GENUINE. IF SHE MET YOU AND SHE LIKED YOU,YOU WERE SET FOR LIFE FOR FRIENDSHIP,LAUGHTER,COMPANIONSHIP, LISTENING,SHARING, AND CARING.SHE TORE THE MOTOR APART IN MY CAR AND PUT IN A NEW TIMING BELT. SHE LOOKED AFTER OUR SON SO WE COULD ATTEND THE DEATHS OF OUR PARENTS. SHE COOKED, OH WHAT A COOK! HER AND LENNY WERE REMARRIED IN MY LIVING ROOM! WHAT A GREAT COUPLE THEY WERE TO KNOW AND LOVE! I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS TRAGIC LOSS FOR US IN THIS LIFE. BUT, BOY IN ETERNITY, THEY ARE HAVING A BALL! SHE IS WALKING, LAUGHING,CATCHING EVERYONE THERE UP ON THINGS HERE, AND NO MORE PAIN OR SUFFERING. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER THERE, RESTORED IN ALL HER GLORY. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING SONJA, YOU TRULY WERE A JEWEL. SORRY I AM NOT THERE FOR THIS DAY BUT I PROMISE, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED BY US AND RANDY. LOVE, COLLEEN AND DICK SWEET

Aunt Sonja, You will be missed by all. I send with you the memory of my clothes washing days and the broken arm from the washing machine Heee Heee. I Thank you for all the late nights when I was young and needed my Poo Bear - The wait for mom and dad seemed to take for ever. Enjoy every moment with Elvis because I'm sure your chasing him around like a high school girl. Love you and Miss you - Shennon
