ROBERT W. "BOB" AHN

1937 - 2022

Robert W. "Bob" Ahn, 85, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, and a longtime resident of Coudersport, formerly of Southampton, Pa., passed away in UPMC Hamot, Erie, with his loving family by his side, on Saturday, March 19, 2022, after a short illness.
Born on Thursday, March 11, 1937 in Horsham, he was a son of Norman H. and Margaret M. Wilkerson Ahn. Bob was president of his graduating class at William Tennet High School in Warminster.
Bob was employed as a police officer for the Southampton Township Police Department for 32 years retiring as a Sargent.. After retiring from the Southampton Police Department, Bob worked for the Plumsteadville Township Police Department.
Bob was an avid collector of well restored classic vehicles.
His life was so full of love for his family and many, many friends. At his home, he welcomed old and new friends to his beloved bar, "the Beaver Ranch." People from near and far would stop and enjoy a drink or two. Bob loved his two dogs, Molly and Brandy, who he adored. Bob's life was truly a remarkable life.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia J. "Patti" Ahn and Christa (William) Ahn-Doettger; four grandchildren, Brittany (Tim) Wolf, Sarah ( Terry "TJ") Swartley, Joshua (Michelle) Ahn-Doettger and Jolyn (Cody) Garges; three great-grandchildren, Brantley Wolf, Addison Wolf and Shea Harrison; four stepchildren, Denise, Diane (Rich), Michael (Jeanette) and Maria; a brother, Norman H. (Elizabeth) Ahn; three nieces and a nephew.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a daughter, Andra Ahn.
Currently services are to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Teacher's Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Bob's family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
