Bong Cam

Bong Cam, age 63 of Huntley, IL died Saturday, February 11, 2006 in Bettendorf at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 3p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006, at the Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. Bong Cam was born April 12, 1942 in Sonla, Vietnam the daughter of An and Khiene (Lavan) Baccam. She married Tiane Cam in 1959 in Vientiane, Laos. The couple moved to Iowa in 1976 where they had resided in Mt. Pleasant, Muscatine, and later in Huntley, Illinois. Mr. Cam died in 1991.
Her family includes children, Asia Cam of Bettendorf, Bay Cam of Davenport, Nhot Cam of New London, Phaykham Cam of Mt. Pleasant, Phay Baccam of Muscatine, Namkham Cam of Iowa City, Mani Vi of Bettendorf, and Kham Ha of Huntley, IL; sisters, Choum Baccam of Mt. Pleasant, Bouane Thongvanh of Storm Lake, Quych Baccam of Mt. Pleasant, Suyn Hacksisombath of Van Buren, AR, and Phimmachanh Baccam of Des Moines; one brother, Sayphet Baccam of Des Moines; and fifteen nieces and nephews.
