Gould, Bobbie Joyce
Jan. 30, 1928 - Nov. 22, 2015
Bobbie Joyce Gould, nee Herman, 87, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Wheaton, Maryland and Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away at home on November 22, 2015. Born January 30, 1928 in Hickory, North Carolina, she is preceded in death by her mother, Irma Clements, her father Pinkerton Herman, her husband of 64 years, David H. Gould, Sr. and their son, Steven L. Gould.
Bobbie was the regional manager of fine jewelry at Maas Brothers in Sarasota for 20 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Gould Niederpruem (Kurt Hoverter) of Venice, Florida, her son David 'Rusty' Gould Jr., her grandson, Daniel Duncan of Palo Alto, California, her sister, Sylvia Sprouse of Philomath, Oregon, her brothers, Ronald (Patricia) Clements of Clarksville, Maryland, Alan 'Bud' Clements of Dothan, Alabama, and Kenneth (Janice) Clements of Dayton, Nevada, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 25th at 1:30pm at the Sarasota National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her late husband, David Gould, a WWII combat veteran.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, Florida is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
