Brice Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, Brice R. Passed away in Petaluma on August 28, 2008. Loving uncle of Jim White of Carroll, IA, Ann White of Omaha, NE, Colleen White of Newell, IA, Connie Ashba of Casper, WY, Mary Rock of Omaha, NE, Pat White of Casper, WY and Bob White of Fremont, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Williams in 1984 and his parents Vernon C. and Susie M. Tolin. Brice was born in Cody, Wyoming and was a graduate of the University of Denver. He served his country proudly as a Captain in the US Army Air Corp in the American Theatre during World War II. He was the recipient of both the Bravery Ribbon and the World War II Victory Ribbon. Brice enjoyed his career as an auditor for the U.S. Government for 30 years. He was a member of Rotary and a US Auditors Association officer. Brice was reserved, studious, well read and had a strong commitment to his family and his work. He taught his family and friends that accomplishment in many fields is achieved by steady attentive dedication to detail and commitment to the task. He loved to travel, square dance and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. Brice will be remembered for his devotion to his wife Pearl, his quiet humor and loyalty to his friends. Friends are invited to attend Funeral Liturgy Services on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa.
