Cody McBRIDE Obituary

McBRIDE Cody Alan Cody, 23, cherished son of Sean and Marcy McBride, beloved brother to Justina, was taken from us too early on May 11, 2015 after a tragic accident. He was born on June 23, 1991 in Santa Rosa, CA. In 2009, he graduated from Montgomery High School with honors from the Dean; he played JV and Varsity football as a center and guard, two years JV #71 and two years Varsity #66. He then studied at SRJC, earning a certificate in Natural Resource Management with emphasis on Watershed Mgt., while also working in swimming pool construction for A+ Pools. His main loves were his girlfriend, Amanda Jones, family, friends, animals, nature, and being a professional Ultra 4 off-road race driver. Cody was loving, strong, courageous, happy, friendly, compassionate, and funny. He lived life to the fullest and he lives on in all of us by inspiring us to be more like him every day. #689 Forever. Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at 2209 Chester Dr. Penngrove. At the service donations may be made to Cody Cares, a new charity that has been set up in Cody's honor to help those in need.
