Diane DeLand Obituary
January 3, 1940 - February 21 2023
Diane Olivia Ammons DeLand died February 21, 2023. She was the daughter to Morris "Mark" T. Ammons and Lucille I. Ammons and brother Jim. A graduate of Petaluma High school class of 1957, Graduate of UC Berkeley 1961, Goethe Institute- West Berlin 1961 and American University 1972. She was the founding president and CEO of The Pension Corporation 1978-1989. She excelled in everything she did which included economic business policy and foreign relations, a love of animals and the sport of Polo, skiing, fine arts, literature, and world travels. She was a brilliant economist and shared her knowledge with local school programs and institutes of government. She is survived by Charles M. DeLand III her son.
