Robert "Bob" ABRAMSON

Age 89; Passed away peacefully with his family by his side from heart complications on 12/31/2012. Dearly beloved husband of Barbara Abramson for 67 years. Father of Julie Morrison and her husband Chuck, and Bruce Abramson and his wife Taraneh. Grandfather of Colin and Alec Morrison, and Ryan and Jessica Abramson. Brother of Albert Abramson, and sister Carol Jessen and numerous surviving nieces and nephews. A native of San Francisco, and a longtime resident of Cotati. Bob was a World War II pilot in the Pacific where he flew B-29 Bombers. He is a member of the World War II Pilots Association. Bob is a U.C. Berkeley graduate with a Masters Degree in Social Welfare. He is a member of the United Nations Association of Sonoma County, the Democratic Clubs of Santa Rosa and Petaluma, and the Prostate Cancer Support Group. Working for the United Nations and the World Bank, Bob spent 29 years overseas assisting developing countries in Government Management Development.
