Oh how you will be missed, my favorite Uncle Bob. You were really my mom's cousin, but Uncle Bob to me. My most special memories were family visits as a kid, then spending time with you while attending college in the Bay Area. You and I also had our share of long phone conversations in the last 10 years. All the Wescotts send our love to family.

Bob Lawson was one of a kind. Straight talking and plain speaking with a wonderful sense of humor. A great engineer who could explain complex technical problems to everyone. We shared many glasses of wine over dominoes after skiing in Sun Valley. He was my friend and business partner for 25 years. I will miss him very much.

Bob Lawson was one of a kind. Straight talking and plain speaking combined with a wonderful sense of humor. A great engineer who could explain complex problems in everyday English. We shared many a glass of wine over dominoes after skiing in Sun Valley. He was my friend and business partner for 25 years. I will miss him very much.

susie, would you contact me? i'm sorry to use this medium, and will erase (if possible), but won't be able to come on the 29th and would love to talk with you.

Bob, Frank Boerger and Frank Rollo as HLA partners were such tremendous mentors to me founding the Bay Planning Coalition. You and HLA contributed so much to the brilliant geotech/ engineering legacy of the Bay. We are stronger for you, your leadership and great humor to boot. Ellen Joslin Johnck

I'm sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked for Bob and Dick Harding from 1972 to 1983, and again during the 1990s when I managed the company's employee newsletter (The Monitor). Bob Lawson was an exemplary executive and engineer who mentored his employees and cared about them. I wish his family well during this sad time.

Bob Lawson, THE warmest, funniest, most straightforward of my parents' friends. I grew up a better person because of him.
