MARGARET MARY LONG

MARGARET MARY LONG Long time resident of Bloomington, passed away October 27 at Loma Linda Medical Center at the age of 77. She was born in Grand Folks, ND on March 16, 1932. Margaret was a member of St. Catherine's Church and Model T, Model A & T Bird Car Clubs. She also enjoyed quilting. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joe and Lillian Breidenbach and her brother, Robert Breidenbach. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bernard Long; three daughters, Mary (Tom) Newell, Ann Long and Carol (Dennis) Bromley; four grandsons, Ben and Mat Newell and Chris and Alex Bromley; three great grandchildren, Hailey, Ashley and Austin Bromley; three sisters, Vivian McColley, Shirley Karl and Beverly St. John and lots of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives. Viewing will take place Monday, November 2, 2009 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Rialto, CA 4-6:30pm with Rosary at 5:30pm. Funeral Mass will also be celebrated at St. Catherine's on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 10:00am. Graveside service will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Hospital, American Cancer Society and Jesuits. Margaret was a wonderful and loving daughter, wife, Mother, sister, aunt and most of all Gram (grandmother). She opened her heart to many and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She and her husband were active members of numerous antique car clubs and enjoyed a very active social life filled with memorable times spent with a vast circle of close friends.
