John Bee Obituary

Bee, John, - 86, of Philadelphia and Longport, NJ., passed away Friday October 22, 2021. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served from 1953 to 1956. John was a master plumber for over 60 years and the longest serving Trustee at Plumbers Union Local 690. John was known to all as a true gentleman. He was generous with his time, knowledge, and always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. He took great pride in his Irish heritage and enjoyed fishing, gathering with friends, and spending time with his family. Born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, John enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore so much he bought a house in Margate and later Longport. He was a loving husband to Peggy (McMahon); father to Brian Bee (Lisa), Mark Bee, and Luke Bee (Gwenn); grandfather to Sean, Briana, Kevin, Matthew and John; brother to Thomas Bee (Pat), Theresa Ashburn (Antoine), and Mary Quinn. John is predeceased by his sister, Patricia Banas (Frank) and his brother ,Francis Bee. A visitation will be held from 9AM to 10:15AM Tuesday, November 02, 2021 at Saint Augustine's Roman Catholic Church,250 North Fourth Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19106. A funeral mass will follow at 10:15. Interment is private.
