Bobby,

To the friends and family of Bobby Rose my prayers are with you. Bobby and I arrived at Archbishop Carroll in September of 1961 and our friendship started and evolved. We played football, basketball and baseball together and won an intramural championship together. Bobby and I took classes together and he even stopped by house a few years ago for dinner. He will surely we missed.

To the family of Bobby Rose my prayers and sincere sympathy to you all. Bobby and was a kind, considerate, giving and loyal friend. Bobby and I attended Archbishop Carroll High School. Bobby was an outstanding student and an all-around versatile athlete playing football, baseball and basketball. Bobby and I attended Norfolk State College together were roommates for two years along with Dennis Winston. Bobby and I were in ROTC together and entered the Army the same year. Bobby would often visit my wife (Evelyn) and I when he was in the Washington DC area. Many times Evelyn would spend time alone with Deborah watching and caring for Deborah while Bobby and I be off having fun attending Carroll football games and other events. Bobby attended many parties and cookouts at our home. We shall miss Bobby's hearty laughter and warm smile. To the family; may the blessings of the Father, the grace and peace of the Son, and the comfort and guidance of the Holy Spirit be with you always.

Prayers are extended to Deborah, as well as Bob's family, at the news of his death. I was in a state of shock and disbelief when informed of his death. Bob was a very caring and compassionate man who reached out to others whenever possible. Ministering to him, when the decision was made to seek alternative housing for his wife, was both gratifying and uplifting as he demonstrated the trust he placed in me to guide him through that difficult season. He did not allow pride to prevent him from seeking advice from his "big sister" in Christ. The coversations shared will be missed. I am comforted in knowing that when God called him home, he was doing what he loved, resting in his beautiful RV.
Family....Grief is a process. Allow it to happen. "Blessed are those who morn, they shall be comforted " Matthew 5:4

I will forever miss you, my brother but I know you are resting in peace.

To the Rose Family:

May you find much comfort at this time. Bob was a good, kind and giving man. He was a gentleman and a God-fearing individual. I met him at Norfolk State University and found him to be a smart, calm- natured person who was dedicated to his career and very helpful and accommodating to his friends and fellow classmates.

He will be missed. We loved him so much, but God loved him more. May you find comfort in each other in the days ahead.

Regretfully,

With Bob I need condolences for myself. We met through a mutual friend, then discovered that we had so many "alikes". When April came our friend disccvered that we had the same birthday.
I had my special younger "brother".
To Deborah and his family, please know that I am so grateful to have known him. Cherish your memories.
