Anthony Medeiros Obituary
74, a lifelong resident of Seekonk, went to meet the Lord, Sunday morning, May 2, 2021. Born July 4, 1946, in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Anthony and Jessie (Perry) Medeiros Sr.
Anthony graduated with honors from East Providence High School and the Southeastern Massachusetts University. He was employed as an electrical engineer for 37 years at Naval Undersea Warfare Center.
After he retired, he worked on his farm, family genealogy and helping relatives. He was an amateur radio operator (W1PM) and a life member of the Amateur Radio Relay League (AARL), member of the Astronomical Society of Southern New England (ASSNE) and other organizations.
Anthony was a lifelong communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and was a contributor to many charities.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Anthony was buried along side his parents at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Following his expressed wishes there were no calling hours.

My son won a college scholarship in Anthony's name and was notified today. Thank you for doing this. I never knew him but I bet he'd like that a really really smart kid is getting some help going to school in his name. Peace to his family.

I was a neighbor of Anthony’s for years, shared the same bus stop for Jr. High and High School, and really sorry to hear he has passed. We shot a lot of hoop in his yard as a kid. He had some varied interests and was a good guy. Rest In Peace, Anthony.

I am sad to learn about Anthony’s passing. I enjoyed working with him at NUWC. He mentored me when I started there, and I enjoyed listening to his stories about how he would tinker with his radio components. He was a good person who will be missed.
