Eileen Morlock

MORLOCK, EILEEN (BOYLAN), age 98, of Fair Street, Warwick, an Irish matriarch to twelve siblings and their families, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, to be reunited with family members who have gone before her. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Sullivan) Boylan, and the wife of the late Louis B. Morlock, she lived in Warwick since 1946. She and her husband had celebrated 61 years of marriage. Eileen was employed as a secretary at Automatic Chain in Providence before retiring. She was an avid bridge player for over 50 years. Her favorite pastime was entertaining her six grandchildren with fabulous home cooking. She leaves a son, Barry S. Morlock of East Greenwich; a daughter, Gail Morlock DeSisto of Portsmouth; a brother, Donald Boylan of Warwick; and six grandchildren, Carl, Kerry, and Kathleen Morlock, and Christi, Shelly and Chad DeSisto. She was the sister of the late Therese Capone, Anne Moran, Lillian Cianciola, John, Henry, James, Edward, Margaret, Madeline, David, and Robert Boylan. Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 11, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 8 - 9 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a kind deed be done in her memory.
