I was a patient of Dr Wohlrab, and after learning of Izzy added her to our prayer list at church. While having surgery I saw the ID flower badges the nurses had on and thought that was a special way to remember her. May God continue to bless you and your family.

I saw Isabelle's picture and I was immediately drawn to her beautifull face. I wish her nothing but peace now..She fought a tough battle..I recently lost my mother to cancer, I know just how hard it is to let go but, I did finally find some comfort knowing that she is finnally at peace..

I am so very sorry for the loss of your little girl. I cannot imagine your pain and at this time am consumed with grief for you. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus carry your family through this time. I do not know you but was compelled to write. I wanted to share something that I stumbled upon.

She brought laughter, warmth, and comfort to many

and those dedicating their lives to the care of others,
who often must face life as it moves to shadows.

My girl, I can't believe you're gone. I never thought it would end this way because no matter what treatment you received you always bounced back. Mommy and Daddy did everything to try to save you. Dear little Izzy,
Your life was filled with purpose; an example and reminder to all of us on how we should endure our times of suffering. How many times don't we lament over the smallest discomforts that life may bring? But not you my dear child of God, you did as Jesus did, you quietly and bravely took your cross, never showing this world an ounce of fear and unwillingness to stay your course. You were meek but not weak, you were sick but you were filled with life, you were tiny but you reached the summit peaks of life that many will not, your visit was short but will endure forever in our hearts. You are the little lamb who knows your shepherd's voice when He calls out. Like the shepherd who would break the legs of the lamb of his flock that tended to wander, he would carry it on it's back until it was healed, so that it would never stray and would stay by his side forever...Dear Lord God with little Izzy you have broken us, so that we may not stray from the path you have chosen for us. Dear little Izzy your life was not in vain, it was filled with meaning and purpose and although we never met, your soul has reached out to mine in the deepest of ways and you will forever be a reminder of courage, love, faith, and hope! God I pray that you may grant me little Izzy one day at my time of passing to hold my hand in comfort and welcome me at your heavenly gates. I love you little Izzy! May God bless and comfort your parents, family, and friends! I worked with Dr Kurt Wohlrab at FH Richmond Ortho. I just found out about the passing of Izzy. I'm so sorry for your grief. The only comfort that can be found at a time like this is the fact that she's not suffering anymore. I pray that you can find some kind of comfort in that. She was a true inspiration.

To the entire Wohlrab Family,extended family and friends,
your saddness now is very deep and painful but in time Izzy will heal you. She is the Father's Child as we all are. He shared her with us as long as He could bear not to have her with Him. She has taught us how to suffer. The only way back home is to suffer as Our Lord did in His Passion. Izzy is enjoying her Easter flying with the angels and sitting on her Father's lap telling Him of all of the people in her heart.

It is not right to have to bury your child, but Izzy was here for a reason. What ever that reason was, she fullfilled it.
