Jack and I grew up together. We went to the same schools from Kindergarten to high school. We were always together through thick and thin, good or bad, weddings, children, and finally grandchildren. A friendship like ours only happens once in a lifetime, and now he is gone. Our friendship has not ended; it has changed from physical to spiritual. Good bye my friend, you may be gone but our friendship and memories (and what memories!) will last forever! See you in paradise!
To Jack's dear family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May the grace of God shine upon you and give you peace and comfort during this time of sorrow.
Love,
Maurice (Butch) Maynard and family

I extend my deepest sympathy to Linda and all of Jack's family. I have had the pleasure of meeting Jack and Linda through my sister and brother-in-law, Joan & Ted Daly. I found Jack to be a delightful person, full of intersting conversation, humble, generous and warm in friendship. He touched my life (and that of my late father) briefly, but will always be remembered with great fondness.

Even thought I don't know Jack's family I thought you would like to know I remember Jack from Elementary School as a kind and very nice boy. I actually recognized him from the picture before I saw his name. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Aunt Linda, Jack Jr. & Eric,
No words can take away the sorrow that you all are feeling at the loss of Uncle Jack. As I was growing up he was the big brother I never had. He always took time with me to ensure I was on the right track in life. The memory of all he did with me and for me will live in my heart forever. May God Bless and comfort you.
Love, Bob

Aunt Linda, Jack Jr, and Erik,
I am so very sorry for your loss. No words can really take away all that you are feeling. Please take some comfort in knowing that "Uncle Jack" will always bring a smile to all of those that he has touched in his life, including myself. Though the years have passed quickly, I appreciate and share w/my own children the loving memories of him as a child, like driving me home on a hot summer day to get my swimsuit, so that I could swim with my cousins. Please treasure your memories of him, as I do, for they will last a lifetime.
Goodbye Uncle Jack and rest in peace until we meet again.
Love,
Laurie

Linda,
Jack Jr., Eric and your dear families. On behalf of the Shushansky family I want to express our love for Jack SR and appreciate all of you being wonderful, fun loving neighbors and traveling companions to my parents for many decades. Nobody knew how to make both business and pleasure as successful and fun as Jack SR. Larry and I are both proud to have known him and sorry that his health took him from you so soon. My parents are very sad that their own health won't allow them to travel north to be with you.
Our deepest sympathies.

A few weeks ago I read a book by Mitch Album. The book was “for one more day”. I haven’t seen my good friend Jack in a few years. Moving to the Midwest has cut me off from many of my friends and family. I’m sad that I allowed that disconnect to happen. I find myself wishing for one more day with Jack who always had time to talk to me (as though I was important). To Jack, everyone was important. Everyone deserved a handshake, a smile and a kind word. If I had “one more day” I’d like to tell Jack that he too was important to every person he came in contact with. I’m a better person because I knew Jack Hoskins.
