Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late James H. Williams and Marie E. (Provencial) Williams-Placella.
Besides his wife, he leaves ten children, Jimmy Jr., Timothy, and Kevin Williams, Tony and Michael Abbatematteo, Danise Davis, Kathe Plante, Cindy Gould, Carolann Nadeau, and Ellie Buxton, a brother, Frank Williams, a sister, Ethel Eierman, nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smithfield Elks Lodge #2359, 326 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917. For guestbook and condolences, visit robbinsfuneralhome.com
