Peter Clark Obituary

CLARK, PETER P. 74, formerly of Warwick, RI passed away peacefully May 26, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Diane E. (Kerkhoff) Kitson-Clark. Born in Onset, MA, he was a son of the late Paul and Irene (Brown) Clark. Peter was a former member of the Army National Guard. He later graduated from Roger Williams College as a Construction Engineer. He worked as a Union Carpenter for his entire career and served as a union teacher for many years. Peter was formerly an active Free Mason. He was also a licensed amateur radio operator. After retiring, he was a member of the US Power Squadrons, serving as Vessel Examiner. Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Zina E. Poulin of Hollis, NH, Heather I. Rose of Douglas, MA and Kyla J. Almeida of Norfolk, MA; two step-sons, William J. Kitson III of Cleveland, OH and Robert J. Kitson of Escondido, CA; three siblings, Preston Clark of Scituate, Pamela Amoroso of Coventry, and Paul Clark of Warwick; and eight grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00am at Saint Mark's Church, 111 West Shore Road, Warwick, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Peter Clark to the Traumatic Brain Injury Unit at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Please send all tributes to Spaulding Rehab Development Office, 1575 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA 02139.
