Richard Sprague Obituary

SPRAGUE, RICHARD W. 65, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Morgan Health Center. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Gibson) Sprague. Born in Nashua, NH, he was the son of the late George Sprague and Victoria (Kristoff) Maragianis. Richard had worked for Sprague & Sons Construction, a business owned by his father. He loved motorcycles, gardening and above all his cherished grandchildren. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two sons, Arthur Swider and George Gates; two daughters, Donna Lopes and Elizabeth Davis; 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George Sprague, Jr. and Patricia Barlow. His funeral service will be held Wednesday Morning, April 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Respectfully Omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Ave. Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906. maceroni.com
