William Henry "Bill" McKinnon Jr.

McKinnon, Jr., William "Bill" Henry
of Kingston passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Weymouth, MA, he was the son of the late William H. McKinnon, Sr. and Kathleen H. (Bulmar) McKinnon. He was the loving husband of Cheryl A. (Paolucci) McKinnon.
Bill was a graduate of Weymouth High School and an Alumnus of Northeastern University. He proudly served his country in both the United States Navy and Army during the Korean War. He was also a merchant marine with Standard Oil Company traveling to Venezuela, Argentina, South Africa and the Persian Gulf and spent extended voyages out at sea.
Bill started his career working for Weymouth Light & Power and served as their Union President. He went on to become the District Customer Service Manager for Narragansett Electric Company where he worked for a total of 39 years until his retirement.
In addition to his wife Cheryl, he is survived by his daughter, Donna J. Fabrizio of Warwick, his sister, Dianne Crews of Maryland, two grandchildren, and his dearest nephew, Dennis V. Paolucci.
He was the father of the late Joan M. Seelenbrandt and the brother of the late Joanne MacIntosh.
Bill loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed traveling, sports, the daily news, a good political debate, and his evening cocktail. He will be incredibly missed by all.
His Funeral Services will be private. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
