Yolande Landry

LANDRY,YOLANDE R. (BEGIN), 82, of School Street, Albion died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Ballou Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Raoul J. Landry. Born In Albion, a daughter of the late Rodolphe and Jeanne (Leroux) Begin, she had lived in Albion most of her life. She had also lived in Oakland and North Smithfield. Mrs. Landry worked for the former Uniroyal Rubber Company in Woonsocket where she also served as the shop steward. She was the former owner and current office manager of Landry's Texaco, now Landry's Auto Service of Albion, for many years. She was a part-time hairdresser and taught English as a second language. She was an active communicant of St. Ambrose Church, Albion. She is survived by her three children, Linda M. Baker and her husband, Donald of Lincoln, Dennis R. Landry and his wife, Laura of Lincoln, and Diane Landry-Bartel and her husband, Ulrich of Foster; three sisters, Madeleine Olivier and Lisa Spirka, both of Florida and Pauline Lawrence of Pascoag; four brothers, Norman Begin of Woonsocket, Maurice Begin of Florida, Paul Begin of Burrillville and Raphael Begin of Woonsocket; seven grandchildren, Gregory Landry, Clifford Landry, Christine Baker, Rachel Arone, Justine Landry, Michael Bartel and Erik Bartel; five great grandchildren, Arden Rodriguez, Gregory N. Landry, Isabella DePina, Chloe Landry and Blake Rodriguez; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond Begin. Her funeral will be held THURSDAY, SETPEMBER 15 at 8:30 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Albion. Relatives and friends are invited and may call WEDNESDAY 4-8 P.M.
