March 18, 1961-June 12, 2022
Christyne L. White, 61, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11 am, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Rafferty Funeral Home 2111-1st St A, Moline with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials can be made to the family.
Christyne Dzekunskas was born March 18, 1961 in Lacrosse, WI, the daughter of Thomas A. Dzekunskas, Sr. and Mary Lou (Small) Cacari. She married Lester E. White on January 7, 1978 in Orion. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2015.
Christyne was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her boxer dogs, Molly and Sadie and cats, Genesis and Athena as well as crafting.
Survivors include her daughters, Mellissa (Michael) Hendrickx, Rock Island, Megan (Dave VanOteghem) White, Moline and Ashleigh White (Dalton Wakeland), East Moline; grandchildren, Nathan, Madison, Cloe, Zane, Mason, Joseph, Brylee and Dalton; great grandson, Ezekiel; sister, Rebecca (Lee) Larimore, Carbon Cliff and brothers, Thomas (Karen) Dzekunskas, II, Independence, MO and John (Gloria) Dzekunskas, Colona. She was preceded in death by her parents.
