April 16, 1951-September 22, 2022
AILVIS-Gloria H. Catlett, 71, of Silvis, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Memorial visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Ambrose University Department of Nursing.
Gloria was born on April 16, 1951, in Moline, the daughter of Edward and Anna Dorothy (Anderson) Mason. She was an Alumni of the former Lutheran Hospital School for Nurses and was very proud of her 45-year nursing career which included the former Lutheran Hospital and most recently the Quad City Ambulatory Surgery Center. Gloria loved spending time with her grandchildren. She liked to watch movies from the 1930's and 40's and listen to music from the 60's and 70's. She also enjoyed traveling, her dog Finley, and beating Larry at Cribbage.
Survivors include her daughter, Carrie (Rex) Pauley; significant other, Larry Williams; grandson, Hunter (Haley) Pauley; granddaughter, Olivia Pauley; brother, James Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog, Birney.

So sorry to hear this. My childhood memories are so fond. Our family used to visit over weekends when we were kids. Loved their whole family and used to cry when we went home. Rest in peace. May God comfort all loved ones during this difficult time.
