MOLINE-Sandra M. Lawrence, 67, of Moline, Illinois, died Sunday, December 4, 2022, at home.

A memorial mass will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, with Father Donald L. Levitt officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. The family will host a gathering to celebrate Sandy's life at Len Brown's North Shore immediately following burial. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

The former Sandra Marie Alderson was born December 5, 1954, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Margaret (Seymour) Alderson. She married Jeffrey T. Lawrence on October 21, 2004, in Moline. He died August 1, 2007.

Sandra worked in the restaurant/bar industry for many years, most notably managing Len Brown's North Shore Inn, Moline. She also worked in patient registration for Trinity Medical Center, Bettendorf.

Sandy was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. She enjoyed music and going to concerts, spending time by the river, and going on road trips. Above all else, family was the most important thing to Sandy.

She is survived by two daughters, Nicole Baldwin of Bettendorf, and Melissa Saucedo of Moline; five grandchildren, Blake and Kiersten Baldwin, and Jenna, Emma and Isabella Saucedo; her brother, Steve Alderson of Altamonte Springs, Florida; a special sister-in-law, Beth Ann Lawrence; and nieces and nephews, Jim Alderson, Andrea Vath, Tom Alderson, Carrie Underwood, and Richard Alderson, and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Randy Alderson.
