Roy Stewart Obituary
Roy was born on August 18th 1966 in Cortez, Colorado to Roy and Iva Stewart. In August of 1985 Roy married Roxie Elaine Gates. They had two children together Shawnica and Troy. Roy also had nine grandchildren: Burtie, Talon, Reagan, Wanda,
Julian, Brilynn, Adeline, Lacy, and Axel.
Roy spent the last 13 years of his life fulfilling his life long dream on the road driving truck with his partner Jerry Allen. He also loved spending time in the mountains as well as watching his dog play at home.
Roy is survived by his parents, Iva Stewart of Clovis and Roy (Ruby) Stewart of Alamogordo; his daughter, Shawnica (Curtis) Lee of Fritch, TX; and son, Troy of Amarillo, TX; his brothers, Robert (Cristin) Stewart of Portales and Timothy Stewart of Clovis; sister, Stacy Landry of San Antonio, TX; 9 grandchildren; and twelve nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Stewart; and grandparents, Jeanie Taylor, Roy H. Stewart Sr., Robert and Irene Conner.
