BETTENDORF-David Lee Pierson, 75, of Bettendorf, Iowa, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 28, 2021. Cremation will be according to his wishes and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bettendorf, Iowa. He loved baseball and his favorite team was the St. Louis Cardinals.
He was born December 24, 1945 in Moline, Illinois to parents William and Sarah Pierson. He graduated from Moline High School and went right into the United States Air Force. He married Joanne (Ragan) Ault in 1987.
He is survived by Joanne Pierson, son, D. Bradley Pierson, Daughter, Joy Rosenow, 3 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Stepchildren, Robert Ault, and Diana Zimmermann, 4 Step Grandchildren, and Sister in Law, Ann Pierson.
He leaves behind his close friends, Sherry Birx and Gary Kaasa, Rev. Gary and Joyce McBrien, and Justin, Saree, and Blake Hahn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Pierson, Sister, Sue Barefoot.
Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church in Bettendorf, Iowa.
