Brenda Grimes Obituary
Brenda G. Grimes, 69, passed away
peacefully on Wednesday, August 1 in her Shoemakersville residence.
Born August 13, 1948, in Reading, she was the daughter of Ruth (Kern) Grimes, West Lawn, and the late Irwin Grimes.
A graduate of Wilson High School and McCann School of Business, Brenda worked as a warranty and returns clerk for Schneider Electric, Leesport for over 20 years, last working on Tuesday. She previously worked for Ronco's Pharmacy and Grimes Distributing.
Brenda was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed country music and line dancing in her spare time.
Brenda was liked by everyone she met, always having a smile on her face and a friendly personality. She put
everyone else before herself and was always there for
anyone in need.
Brenda is survived by her children, daughter, Kelly L. Scott, wife of Brett, Boyertown, and son, Michael R. Quirin, husband of Alison, South Park, Pa.; and her grandchildren: Tom, Katie and Caroline. She is also survived by her
brother, Glenn, husband of Theresa Noviello-Grimes,
Columbia, Pa.; and her former husband, Richard C. Quirin.
A celebration of Brenda's life will be held Saturday,
August 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 5153 Kutztown Road, Temple, PA. Family and friends may call from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Kelly, I just found out yesterday that your Mom passed away....i wish I had known sooner as I would have been at her Celebration of Life. It is very difficult to lose a parent. I still have not come to grips with losing my beloved Father nearly eight years ago. My heart and prayers are with you dear friend. If you need to talk, please give me a call. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. Brenda was a beautiful woman inside and out. She spoke so highly of her family and with such pride and joy. Brenda will be missed. It just won't be the same without her. I will miss our daily talks. I am proud and honored to call her a friend. RIP. Until we meet again. I love and miss you.

Dear Kelly, People come and go in our lives especially if like us you move around a lot. Joe and I have good memories of those years when you were in Junior high and your Mom and I worked together. When someone we know dies it feels like part of our past disappears too. I know you and your brother will miss your mother dearly. Please send our thoughts to your father as well.
