Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

We bury our son today;
His ashes lay to rest.
Early sun shone bright;
Morning air sweet and light;
Late Spring at her best.
We remember our son today.
Embers of laughter remain.
A will strong and sure;
Direction straight and pure;
His Soul for Christ to reclaim.
We Love our son today.
From dust to dust adjourns.
His songs like no other;
Our son; your friend; their bother;
Bryan's spirit with God returns.
No words can truly express the place you have in my heart. I love you Bry.

Dearest Bryan,
We all have been touched by your sweet and gentle nature and are hurting because we have lost you in our lives. So many love you and will keep you in their hearts forever. Love is eternal and never dies. We all will be together again when it is our time. Until then, we will not forget you and we will cherish our memories. We will honor you by living our lives the way you would want us to - not by suffering forever, but by moving forward one small step at a time. We know we will never get over you passing on, but we will get through it. God bless you and all of us left behind.
Love always,
Debbie & Steve Bass

Donna and family,
My heart just breaks for you. A family is never prepared for this and losing a child is never expected so the sorrow and grief you are feeling is much more than most people can imagine. I hope that you will be able to find some peace of heart and mind in the coming days, weeks and months. The memories of Bryan that you will share with each other as well as strangers will help you get through each day. His artistic talents will comfort you in so many ways and you are lucky to have these to hold onto. My thoughts and prayers will follow you to Fla. and beyond. Stay strong. Much love!

Bryan, you were a brother to me. I'm so thankful that I got to know you at all for the year that you lived with us and the years prior. I'll always miss your acoustic version of "The Warmth" and coming home from work to hear you singing from the basement. You were one of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met.

Bryan was such an incredible person. He was such a talented artist in any medium. I will always remember the way he made me feel watching him play acoustic guitar; it was like nothing else existed outside of the song he was playing. I can't even convey the depth to which his loss is felt by all of us. Mr. B, you were one of a kind. I love you.
