Lee Erdman Obituary


Lee Wilson Erdman, 71, of Pleasant Mount, Pa., died in Ketchikan, Alaska on June 8, 2012, while on vacation.

He was the husband of Diane Henesey Erdman.

Born in Reading, Pa., he was the son of the late Carl L. N. and Carolyn (Wilson) Erdman.

He was a graduate of The Mercersburg Academy and Dartmouth College and received an MBA from Columbia University.

He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Honesdale, Pa., where he served on the vestry. He also had been a member at St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoboken, N.J., where he served as council president and property chair.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; son, Christopher B., husband of Elizabeth Erd-man of Brookline, Mass.; and daughter, Melissa, wife of Ethan Holsun of Seattle, Wash.

He is also survived by his sister, Christine E., wife of Robert D. Keeler of Cumru Township.

There are five grandchildren: Orla Erdman, Owen Erdman, Connor Erdman, Violet Holsun and Ivy Holsun, all adored by their "Grandpot".

A celebration of life service will be held June 30 at 11:30 a.m. in Grace Episcopal Church in Honesdale, Pa.

Contributions may be made in his memory to South Mountain YMCA, P.O. Box 147, Wernersville, PA 19565.
