It just does not seem possible it has been a year since Leo passed away. He is always present in our thoughts when we get together with the family. Inevitably some one will mention " Leo/Dad would have really like this" or " wow, Leo/Dad would have HATED this!! Our hearts and thoughts are with Sheila, Jennifer, Jay, Jack and Abby, as well as Heather, and Sean's family, on this anniversary.

Dear Uncle,
You were kind to me, took the time to come & meet me but I was not ready to be a righteous person. I will always remember your kindness to me & hope you rest in peace

So so sad to hear about Leo passing, he was such a nice human being, always had a smile on his face and spoke about how much he loved his family. I enjoyed getting to know him and Sheila.

Sheila and family, I just found your husband and father's obituary. I have been keeping your all in prayer, knowing that the end was near, but this is the first I realized that he is gone. In the few years I knew him, I also appreciated his great spirit, his humor, his intellectual searching, and his love for his family and God. Please accept my sympathy and prayers. That you could keep him in his home is such a blessing.

I certainly enjoyed the times we clergy got together. Great sense of humor.

Leo was the Interim Minister at the United Congregational Church, Middletown RI the second time the US Navy Orders brought us back to Newport, RI. It was such a joy to have you, Sheila, in our pews and Leo preaching from the Pulpit. Once the new Minister arrived and the time allowed, it was always such a happy surprise when you would come back for a visit.
Wayne and I give thanks that you came into our lives and worshipped with us at United Congregational Church.
We send our deepest Condolences and keep you close in our Prayers.
