Betty Lou Martin

1935 - 2021

Was born on January 12, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her late parents, Jack and Jewel Wiggins.
She was the oldest daughter of nine children. She had 6 brothers and 2 sisters. She lived in Porterville, California most of her life. Until recently, when she moved in with her oldest daughter; Debra, son-in-law Steve and granddaughter Margaret Davidson of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. They loved and cared for her until the day she went to be with The Lord on February 13, 2021, she was 86 years old.
Betty was a precious soul. She had a welcoming and beautiful smile for everyone she met. She was a loving mom, and blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous extended & Christian family.
She was survived by her Loving Family;
Her Children: Debra Davidson, Carol Milligan, Darla Harrington, Jeff Rodgers, and Donna Gammon
Her Siblings: Patsy Lambert, Jimmy Wiggins, and David Wiggins
She was proceeded in death by: Her Son: Nilva Rodgers, Her Brothers: Bill, Jackie, Bob, and Harold Wiggins, Her Sister: Geraldine Wiggins
Betty was a beacon of independence and strength in her family. She took care of everyone. She will be greatly missed!
Betty was a faithful member of Porterville Church of Christ where they will be facilitating the Celebration of her Life and providing a luncheon afterwards. This will take place at the church location; 1000 N. Newcomb St. Porterville, Ca on Saturday March 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Minister Marshal Brookey will be officiating the service.
