Gary was a friend and a real DeMolay brother of mine. I will always remember going to the movie theatre in San Diego to see "West Side Story" when it first opened up in 1961 or so. Big macho Gary and I went by ourselves and when we came out, he was crying, looked at me and said "Misty, wasn't it?" That is when I knew that Gary was a real guy and a real friend. We may not see him here anymore, but he will always hold a place in my heart.
