Louis Mathews

July 31, 1935 - September 12, 2010

Louis Mathews passed away at his home in Stockton on September 12, 2010 at the age of 75. Born in French Camp, CA, he has lived the past 24 years in Stockton, and before retirement worked as a construction manager. Louis served his country honorably in the US Army, Serving overseas duty in Korea from 1955-1958.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Joann Mathews of Stockton, his mother Dorothy Mathews, sons: Kenneth Mathews (Shondra) of Valley Springs, Terry Mathews, Michael Mathews (Marcie) both of Stockton, daughter Janet Rose (Johnny) of Stockton, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Gerald Mathews. His father, Aubrey Mathews precedes him in death.

The family would like to extend special thanks to St. Theresa's Radiology, Kaiser Infusion Dept., and Hospice of San Joaquin.

A memorial service to celebrate Louis' life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Chapel of Flowers at Cherokee Memorial Park, hwy 99 at E. Harney Lane in Lodi.
