Edward Tatton Obituary

Norwalk, CT

Edward Joseph Tatton, Sr., a resident of Norwalk, CT, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Wilton, CT. Born on August 17, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Bessie Tatton. He was 86 years of age.

Edward worked as a project manager for Kings County Stone Co. He played the game of golf until he was in his late 70's. He served during World War II with the U.S. Army Air Force as a flight officer.

He is survived by his sisters, Thelma Pritchard and Jean and Don Berkeybile of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by two sons, Edward and his wife, Brenda Tatton, Jr. of Scotchtown, NY and William Tatton of the Bronx, NY; a daughter, Wendy and her husband, Paul Cassell of Norwalk, CT; four grandchildren: Stephanie and her husband, Joseph Williams of Merrick, NY, Jessica and her husband, Russell Hall of New Brunswick, NJ, Edward Joseph Tatton, III of Harrison, NY, and Justin Tatton of New Jersey; and two great-grandchildren, Liam Williams and Lyla Williams of Merrick, NY.

The family received friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, Darien, CT on Monday, May 10, with a service that same evening. A Graveside Service will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY, today, Tuesday, May 11, at 1 p.m.

Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Rd., Wilton, CT 06897.
