Margaret Wood Obituary

Margaret M. Wood of Warwick, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Schervier Pavilion, Warwick, N.Y. She was 89 years old.

Born on July 24, 1916 in Central Islip, N.Y., she was the daughter of Robert Frederick Bishop and Delia Murphy Bishop. She was married to the late William Wood.

Mrs. Wood was a Pharmacy Clerk with Akins Pharmacy in Warwick. She was a former Girl Scout Leader in Warwick and was a parishioner of St. Stephen's R.C. Church in Warwick.

She is survived by her son, William Wood and his wife, Jane, of Warwick; her daughter, Carol Wood of Warwick; grandson, John Robert Wood of Warwick; and granddaughter, Katherine Delia Wood of Warwick.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6 at St. Stephen's R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Hurleyville Cemetery, Hurleyville.

Memorial donations may be sent to St. Stephen's R.C. Church, 75 Sandfordville Rd., Warwick, NY 10990 or Albert Wisner Public Library, 20 Colonial Ave., Warwick, NY 10990.
