Amber Laws Obituary
Redding, CA
Amber Eileen Laws, 79 years old, went to be with our Lord in Heaven, after a short battle with cancer, on August 11, 2015. She was at her home surrounded by her loving children and family.
Amber was preceded in death by her parents William and Ethel Stevens, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and her granddaughter Taylor.
Amber leaves behind her children, Robert (Kim), Phillip (Rosy), Pam (Phill), Julie (Ron), Sheri, Debbie, and Gail (LaMar), 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and several niece's and nephews, all who were the light of her life.
Amber (Nanny) worked at Redding Memorial Hospital when her kids were young, at the Shasta County TB Sanitarium, Shasta Convalescent Hospital, as a CNA, then spent the last 22 years working with the mentally ill, at Crestwood Treatment Center. Amber was loved by all that knew her. She was the most loving kind hearted women, with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by many.
A celebration of her life will be held at Win River Casino, Eagle Room, August 23 at 12pm.

well Amber, your family did a awesome job at your celebration of life, they are such a strong loving family, you have nothing to worry about you did an amazing job with all of them.you are looking down and are so proud of each and every one of them. it says so much for the woman you are to see what a wonderful family you created. Is what I will carry on throughout my life I hope I am half the woman you carried yourself to be.
