I'll miss listening to Rush Limbaugh with him on his truck radio at Jefferson. Marv called him "tenderloin man". We had some good visits over the years. Gonna miss him.

We used to set-up next to each other at Little Hershey 40+ years ago and bump into each other occasionally at Morrey's (Marv called him Tenderloin man). He always had a big smile, warm welcome and lots to talk about. A wise and honest man, probably still listening to Rush Limbaugh at this very moment.

I'm so sorry to hear that bob has passed away, I first met bob along with his wife and brother in laws bob, vergil and bobs mother and her husband back in Victoria when I was 13-14 when they opened Brodie meats and I must say they all were the nicest people you would ever want to meet, bob was so friendly and stop to visit and didn't treat you like you were nobody he treated you like he knew you for ever. I will miss him at car shows in Galesburg where he always stopped to visit with me just like a long lost friend galesburg lost something when bob left this world , you,re in better hands now my friend

My fav memory of Bob was the first year I worked there at Brodie meats. I made deviled eggs for the Brodie Christmas party and he absolutely LOVED them. That was in 2011. EVERY year after I made deviled eggs.... especially for him , I would make extra every year. LOVED his humor his jokes and his smile. He will be missed by MANY.

My condolences to the family and especially to you, Carol. My thoughts and prayers for strength for all of you. It was fun talking with BOB when I saw him at coffee in Hy-Vee. He was a good friend to my brother Ray Armstrong too. I miss talking to you two when you walked your adorable dogs. A hug to you, Carol. I feel your pain but know you have a strong faith in the GOOD LORD to get you thru. It helps us get thru these very trying times.

I will always remember Bob's easy-going personality and infectious smile. He doted on his grandchildren with great enthusiasm and love. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him but the memories will forever be in their hearts. Prayers to all of the Waight family and may God give you peace and strength through this difficult time.
