Los Angeles, CA
Joseph (Joe) Davila passed away October 29, 2015 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 85. Joe was born June, 15, 1930 in Abilene, TX to the late Daniel and Josephena Davila. He grew up in Abilene and moved to Los Angeles in his mid 30's. In Los Angeles, Joe was employed as a chef.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister. He is survived by two sons, David and Danny Davila of Abilene; four daughters, Mary Ann Davila, Rose Marie Davila and Elizabeth Davila all of Abilene and Shirley Anderson of Lindale; four brothers, Pete and Henry Davila of Abilene and Alberto and Juan Manuel Davila of Houston; four sisters, Esther Rodriguez, Ruth Chavana and Martha Davila all of Abilene and Erma Mendoza of Ft. Worth; seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Joe's life will be held 9:30 a.m. Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Cobb Park Recreation Center, 2302 State Street, Abilene, Texas 79603.
