Louise McCharen Trull
Abilene

Louise McCharen Trull, 87, of Abilene passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, in Branson, Missouri. Funeral services will be Monday, December 20, 2010, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Highway 277 South, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born August 18, 1923 in Moran, Texas, Louise was the daughter of Berford and Clara Kirkman. She has lived in Abilene since 1951. Louise was previously employed by her brother, Edwin Kirkman, at Atlas Machine & Welding for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy L. McCharen, and second husband, Weldon Trull.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Glenda Simon of Branson, Missouri, son, Roy L. McCharen, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, and daughter, Peggy Wood of Lubbock, Texas, stepson, Charles Trull of Merkel, Texas, and stepdaughter, Pat McClellan of Lubbock, Texas; several grandchildren, Carla Vargas of Modesto, California, Chad Conery of San Antonio, Texas, Justin Wood of Granbury, Texas, Andrew Wood of Lubbock, Texas, Rusty Trull of Houston, Texas, Randy Trull of Austin, Texas, Ronnye Parma of Arlington, Texas, Eric Simon and Kelley Simon Randle of California, and Ginger Nye and Stacy Flourly of Texas. She also is survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Opal Brubaker of St. Petersburg, Florida; and one sister-in-law, Sue Kirkman of Abilene, Texas.
Louise will be remembered for her love of family, her wit, her ability to make others laugh, her warm heart, and endless giving.
