Ann Mary Kotulski, 89, of Bruce, WI, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Care & Rehab - Ladysmith, WI after being sick for approximately a month. She was born on February 22, 1936 in Rice Lake, WI to Frank and Libby Uchytil. Ann lived in Rice Lake for 19 years and then moved to Chicago, IL for 2 years. She then moved to Weyerhaeuser, WI for 46 years before moving to Bruce in 2003 and residing there for the last 22 years. Ann and Ed Ludwikowski were married on June 18, 1955 in Haugen, WI. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1996. She then married Alex Kotulski on June 27, 2003 in Weyerhaeuser. He survives her.
Ann worked at Rice Lake Farmers Union Feed mill for many years, then at Barney's Grocery Store in Weyerhaeuser. She enjoyed spending time with the family - especially the grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, loved sewing and doing word finds. Ann was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyerhaeuser and also in the PCCW.
She is survived by her husband, Alex Kotulski, 8 sons: Butch (Cindy) Ludwikowski, Bill (Jean) Ludwikowski, Dan (Robin) Ludwikowski, Jim (Sue) Ludwikowski, Bob (Linda) Ludwikowski, Mike (Renee) Kotulski, David Kotulski and Steve Kotulski, 4 daughters: JoAnn (Bob) Lundequam, Sande (Dennis) Hause, Cheryl Martin and Tammy Caskey, special friend: Dominik (Lisa) Szady ( a foreign exchange student she hosted), 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 3 brothers: Charlie, Don and Jim Uchytil, sister: Beatrice Brown and 2 sisters-in-law: Lois and Rita Uchytil.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Libby Uchytil, first husband: Ed Ludwikowski, Son-in-law: Scott Karnitz, daughter: Carol Marie Ludwikowski, brothers: Joe and Bob Uchytil and sisters: Frances Willger and Regina Tomesh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyerhaeuser with Fr. Joseph Kumar Mayakuntla and Deacon Tom Fuhrmann celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Nash - Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce where a scripture service will begin at 6:30 P.M. followed by a Rosary.
