Beatrice Hunt Obituary

Age 92, of Rice Lake, WI, died Sunday, January 21, 2024 in Rice Lake.

She was born on October 28, 1931 in Cameron, WI to Raymond and Emma (Brower) Hickok. Bea graduated from Barron High School in 1949 and was married to Ramon E. Hunt on July 13, 1951 in Rice Lake. She was a homemaker, a librarian in various settings, and was also an organist & pianist in various chapels/church settings. Bea was a Red Cross volunteer, and sang in the church choir and community choirs. Bea enjoyed gardening, tree planting, photography, traveling and knitting/needlework.

She is survived by her husband, Ramon Hunt; 2 daughters, NormaRae Hunt (Garth Schumacher) and Ramona K Hunt; a grandson, Jonathan Hunt Burke (Beth Houlihan Burke); 4 great grandchildren, Jack, Mason, Colin and Eloise. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Emma Hickok; a sister, Esther (Orville) Hicks; a brother, John (Joan) Hickok; their daughter-in-law, Mary Hickok and grandson, William Hickok.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements.
