Margaret J. "Mimi" Keefe

Margaret J. Keefe (Johnson), "Mimi," 73, of Peace Dale, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. She was the wife of Thomas J. Keefe Jr. for 49 years. Born in New Britain, Conn., a daughter of the late Edward J. and Margaret (Naczi) Johnson.
Mrs. Keefe was a librarian at the University of Rhode Island for 50 years. She was very active at Christ the King Parish and a teacher for its Religious Education Program.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Thomas E. Keefe and his wife Colleen of Lakewood, Colo. and Michael S. Keefe of Peace Dale; two grandchildren, T.J. and Grace Keefe; and a sister, Kathleen Johnson of New Britain, Conn. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Webb.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 9 a.m. from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Burial will be private.
