Ton Woo Obituary
Ton was born in China to the late Shee Poy and Foon Wai(Chan) Woo. He immigrated to the United States in 1949 and later married Kuen(Chan) Woo in 1973. They had three children James Woo, Peter Woo, Susan (Woo)Taing married to Hap Taing and a granddaughter Kiran Taing. He is also survived by his siblings Rose Mary Woo, Teresa Woo, and Robert Woo. He was predeceased by a sister Helen Woo.
Graduating from West Warwick High School, Ton went on to receive a Bachelors of Arts from Providence College, class of 1964. Ton held a few jobs before he became a Computer Programmer for AMICA where he worked until retirement.
In his free time Ton enjoyed life and spent as much time with his family and friends as he could. He was a great mentor, an avid fisher, and also liked to hunt. Ton was very caring and gave much to the community via goodwill, kind smiles, and generous donations.
Ton was a loving husband, an excellent father, loyal friend, and a great man overall. He will be dearly missed but always well thought of.

Sorry to hear of Ton's passing. He worked with my husband, Jack Hillman, for many years. I remember him as a fun loving man, always made me laugh.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Ton Woo. I worked with Ton at AMICA for many years and am sad to hear of his passing. He was a great guy and I enjoyed knowing him. He will be fondly remembered.
