I am so saddened by Lil's death. I was on the Christian Ed Commission of Western Mass when Lil was here. She was a great person. The commission attended a conference in Northern Virginia with Lil. Most of the attendees came from big churches with large Christian Ed programs. We all came from small parishes with limited Christian Ed programs and felt quite inferior to the other attendees. Lil saw this and gave us such a pep talk that we did not hesitate to speak up concerning our experiences. She turned us around from wanting to leave to glad we had attended. Rest in peace, dear friend.
