Pamela Lou Hardy

1961 - 2008

Pamela Lou Hardy, 46, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2008. She was born May 20, 1961. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnson Hardy; her step-father, Joseph Holland; one sister, Lula Brugh; and brothers, Clinton, Howard and Posey Hardy. Surviving are her loving mother, Lena Holland, of Roanoke; five sisters, Carolyn and Steve Pierce, of Ohio, Joyce and Walter Underwood, of Roanoke, Earline and Eldridge Austin, of Rocky Mount, Lilly and James Craighead, of Callaway, and Lois Carr, of Callaway; five brothers, Danny and Mary Hardy, of Roanoke, Luther and Joyce Hardy, of Thaxton, Ricky and Leona Hardy, of Ohio, Ralph Hardy, of Tennessee; stepbrothers, Mikeal and Vickie Holland, of Boones Mill, and Robert and Karen Holland, of Christiansburg; and a host of special nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to Dr. Michael Berry and nurse, Karen, from Carilion Internal Medicine and Dr. Musselman and the Pack Team; Larry Jones, hospice nurse; and Julie, social worker from hospice; and special friends, Edith Church, Tina, Sharon and Katherine, of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008, at 10 a.m. in Oakey's Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Charles Hoffler and the Rev. Bruce Gregory.
