Alexis Lloyd Obituary
Alexis was born in Sarasota, Florida on April 26, 1981, daughter of James A. Pendleton and April Michelle Sheff Pendleton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Pendleton. Alexis was a member of His Church. She loved the outdoors, gardening, flowers and working on cars and was an auto mechanic by trade. She was an avid arrowhead collector.
Survivors include her husband, Shane Lloyd; two daughters, Mercedes Ramer (Jon) and Promise Pendleton-Brown; her parents, James & April Pendleton; three sisters, Nicole Waln (Don), Alicia Freed (Adam), and Haley Pendleton; a brother, Caleb Pendleton; special friend, Kevin "Smiley" McDonald; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 1pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Peter Sheff officiating.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday from 11am until 12:45pm.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.

Alexis has been my best friend for 35yrs give or take a year or two...she could tell you down to the day. I love her with all my heart and I miss her more than words can say. My Lil boy is so lost. I don't know how we will ever get by not having her to talk. She always had a way of making everything seem not so bad. She made the whole world brighter and better for everybody that knew her. I love her and miss her more than anybody will ever know.

Oh babygirl I can not believe you are gone. I wish I had stopped and talked to you at the store a few weeks ago but I thought I had time. If I would've have only known i didn't. I hadnt seen you in 10 years I love you so much I always have and always will. We were so close in high school. Now I will miss you the rest of my life. Even tho I didn't know Alexis that long I could see that she was definitely one of the nicest person that I've ever met. She always had that special laugh and that beautiful smile. I just loved her to death and loved being around her. I pray for all of her family and that they will have peace knowing she is in the arms of Jesus. I love you Alexis. Rest in peace my friend...

I am shocked and deeply saddened, for the family, to hear this news.
I have no doubt that Alexis is in the arms of our Savior at the moment she left this earth.
I met her during a very tumultuous time in both of our lives. She was a friend to me and I actually credit her for having saved my mortal life. If God had not placed her in my path on that very day, I would have left not knowing Jesus in truth.
Let me Glorify the Lord through her by saying thank you Lord for Alexis. Thank you Lord for her life.
My heart is with you loved ones. Know that she lives on.
